This year Ayesda Bio is Gold Sponsor of the 2026 IQCS Quality Awards, and we are also sponsoring the award for Best IQCS Interviewer Training and Development. It is the second year running that we have supported the Awards as Gold Sponsor — and the reason we keep coming back is simple: quality data starts with people.

Why Interviewers Matter

In healthcare and life sciences research, the quality of the data comes down to the quality of the conversation. Behind every finding is an interviewer who reached the right participant, asked the question properly, listened carefully and recorded the answer accurately.

When that goes wrong, no amount of analysis can rescue it. A weak interview produces weak data, and weak data produces decisions that rest on less than they appear to.

Why the IQCS Matters

The Interviewer Quality Control Scheme has set and audited the standards for interviewer-administered research for decades. It covers how interviewers are recruited, trained, monitored and supported — and it holds member companies to account through independent audit.

As a member ourselves, we see the value of that independent check every day. It gives clients confidence that the people collecting their data are working to a recognised standard, and it gives member companies a framework for getting better year after year.

Why Training and Development

We chose the Interviewer Training and Development award on purpose. Good fieldwork is not luck; it is built through investment in people — thorough training at the start, targeted follow-on training in response to monitoring, and genuine care for the wellbeing of the interviewers doing the work.

We are delighted to help recognise the organisations doing that best.

Thank You

Congratulations to everyone entering this year, and thank you to the IQCS Council and to our fellow sponsors: Verian, Empower Translate, Smart Connect, InsightX Research and Ayda. With every category now sponsored, it promises to be a strong year for the Awards.

Entries close on Wednesday, 18th November, and the winners will be announced on Wednesday, 25th November. Full details are on the IQCS website.

Quality data starts with people. Supporting the IQCS Quality Awards is one of the ways we put that belief into practice — alongside our own IQCS membership, our MRS Company Partnership and the standards we hold ourselves to on every project.
